Michelin Star for ‘Die Quadriga’ – Best Service in Berlin – Best German Wine List in Germany
Less than a year after his arrival in Berlin, the young Finnish Chef Sauli Kemppainen has been awarded his first Michelin Star for his uncompromising Nordic Cuisine, which has taken the culinary cognoscenti in Berlin by storm. The ‘Nordic Magician’ convinces with his very own style, is a virtuoso of opposites and uses products of the highest European North as well as the Baltic region – culminating in a totally new dining experience in Berlin. Chef Sauli is supported by a highly competent Restaurant team under Maître and Sommelier Herr Vedad Hadziabdic, who has just been voted as the Maître of the Year in Berlin. And to top it all the Brandenburger Hof has received the ultimate wine accolade from Feinschmecker Magazine, who have declared the Hotel’s Wine List as the Best German Wine List of the year. Taking these three elements into account it should prove difficult to find a better qualified and more recognised team in the German Capital.
